Tourists and locals alike enjoy this expansive trail that links (mostly) Kelowna to Vernon through Lake Country via an old rail bed that is now a perfectly made trail. Starting at the shores of Okanagan lake and winding through the valley you end up in Lake Country. This is our favourite section of the trail to ride. Wood Lake is beautiful and this section of the trail is paved which makes it for smooth riding. Take a break at Okanagan Centre, maybe enjoy an ice cream or refreshment at Gatzke Orchards and then carry on towards Vernon. Once back on the trail you will immediately be blown away by the stunning views of Kalamalka Lake. Be sure to pack the camera a snack and even your swim shorts!
